Get ready to explore the outdoors this summer at one of our fun and exciting summer camps!  Lots of options for many ages!
 
Day Camp butterflies

10 10-week session from Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Weekly themes - spend the days outside from the forest to the sea

Begins June 12th

Summer Overnight Camps

Junior Naturalist (9-12 years olds) - 2 days at the Wynn Nature Center/2 nights and 2 days at the Peterson Bay Field Station

Marine Mammal Camp (9-12 year olds) - 4 nights/5 days at the Peterson Bay Field Station exploring marine mammals and marine life & putting together a skeleton!

Teen EcoAdventure Camp (12-15 year olds) - 10 days of amazing adventure in Kachemak Bay - explore our changing environment, camp, kayak, hike, make a difference in the world!

Family Camps (all ages) - a weekend getaway to the Peterson Bay Field Station including sleeping in a yurt, tidepooling, hikes, crafts and campfires!

Creatures of the Dock Tours

Take a tour of the amazing intertidal life right under your feet at Homer Harbor docks. Based out of the CACS Yurt on the Spit, a trained naturalist will guide you through an incredible exploration of invertebrate life living on and around the Homer Harbor Docks. Creatures of the Dock Tours leave from the yurt on Homer Spit at the entrance to Ramp 2, Homer Harbor, 1:30 and 4:30 pm. June - August. Schools and other organized groups of all ages can arrange a tour from April - October, with a time suited to your needs. 

Creatures of the Dock tour is the most fun you can have on the Homer spit for $7! Fun for the whole family.

Program Length: 1 hour

Program Dates: June- August, tour at 1:30 & 4:30 pm.                                              

Groups April-October, tour times to suit your needs.

Program Price: $7 per participant

How to Book: Arrive at the CACS Yurt on the Spit 15 minutes prior to tour time. Call 235-6667 to book the tour for schools and other organized groups.
